Aleister Black not going to WWE Super ShowDown, reported reason revealed

Aleister Black

Aside from Daniel Bryan, Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens it now seems like Aleister Black will also not be travelling to Saudi Arabia on June 7th for the Super ShowDown event. Dave Meltzer reports on Wrestling Observer Newsletter that unlike Bryan and Owens, Black’s reason for not going to the country might not even be his choice.

Meltzer reports that apparently, a few of Aleister Black’s many tattoos have some connotations that might offend the country’s religious beliefs. Meltzer states that it is still unclear whether this was a request from the country’s government or just WWE playing it safe.

Either way, it seems like Black won’t be attending any future Saudi Arabian events just like Sami Zayn due to reasons beyond his control.

Awww.. poor little Saudi’s are insulted by “American Standards” of GENIUS? Tattoo’s have been around for centuries and one small government abolishes them? Give me a break. Damn you, “Sha’Ria” law!!!

If you don’t wanna go to Saudi Arabia, get an offensive tattoo. Problem solved

If they really wanted Black at the event and Black wanted to go, then the solution is easy. Cover his tattoos.
Remember when they did that womens match in one of the other Arabic countries (I can’t remember off the top of my head where it was), and the likes of Sasha Banks basically wore an all body wrestling outfit. He could wear street clothes similar to what he is wearing in his promos.

Simple fact is, WWE (Vince) do not care enough about him to make sure he is on the card and Black probably is using it as a get out of jail free card so he does not have to attend.
Also, when was the last time he actually had a match on TV anyway? So why re-debut him at this event?
