Will Aleister Black be ‘All Elite’? The master of the ‘Black Mass’ has not appeared on WWE since October of 2020, facing Kevin Owens in a ladder match. In addition, the former NXT standout has not been backstage for WWE since his significant other, Thea Trinidad, the former Zelina Vega was released from the company in November due to having an OnlyFans account and supporting Unionization. We now can offer an update on the status of Black’s role moving forward in the company. Vince McMahon ‘buried’ Aliester Black and another superstar recently.
According to Dave Meltzer on a recent edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Aleister Black will be ‘stuck in catering’ until his WWE contract runs out, when he would be gone from the company. This is unless WWE Chairman Vince McMahon has a significant change of heart regarding Black. Black will then be free to sign with any promotion of his choosing after his contract runs out. Aleister Black made his debut for WWE NXT back in April of 2017.
Black’s wife, Thea Trinidad stated during an edition of Lillian Garcia’s ‘Chasing Glory’ podcast, how her husband was slated to win the United States championship from Andrade. Those plans however, were ultimately scrapped.
“Because initially, we were supposed to drop our – I said ‘our.’ Oh my God, what’s the title? Yes, that one, the United States Championship. We were supposed to drop that to Aleister and we were gonna add the element of my confusion into it and it didn’t end up happening obviously. One got hurt and another whole thing but yeah, I wanted to keep the reality of people believing that more than anything else so, it’s nice to keep it just for us but also to keep the storylines fresh and believable as possible.”
