The former WWE RAW Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss has been away from in-ring competition for quite some time now. After several ‘Therapy sessions’ on RAW, she had recently returned to the squared circle at Elimination Chamber 2022 premium live event in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. She failed to win the Women’s Elimination Chamber match and was written off the company.
She has been missing from Monday Night RAW as well. She was suddenly taken off the programming. Fans have been disappointed with the absence of the former RAW Women’s Champion but it seems there’s nothing the star could do about it.
Alexa Bliss seemingly blames WWE writers for her absence
Bliss was recently noted to have a word with a fan on Twitter. She is quite active on her socials and often responds to her fans. She was questioned by a fan about her possible return soon. While fans have been concerned about a possible injury that Bliss might have suffered, it turns out that is not the actual cause. It seems that WWE doesn’t have any plans yet for Bliss’ return. She replied that: “not up to me lol”.

Bliss recently dropped some hints on joining NXT 2.0 during the recent WWE 2K22 launch stream. She had participated in the recent WWE 2K22 launch stream which featured Liv Morgan, Shelton Benjamin, and others. While being introduced to viewers, Bliss made a major tease about possibly eyeing the NXT Women’s title, which is currently held by Mandy Rose. It seems that Bliss is not yet planned for storylines until after WrestleMania 38.
Regardless, Bliss has had quite a career so far in WWE where she is a former 2x WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion, a 3x WWE RAW Women’s Champion, and 2x WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion, holding the title on two separate occasions with Nikki Cross/A.S.H. In addition, Bliss would win the WWE Women’s Money in the Bank back in 2018 as well be the second-ever Women’s triple crown winner for the company.
