Drew McIntyre also showed off his spouse in a recent photo. The former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre recently took to his Instagram account and dropped a picture with his wife, Kaitlyn Frohnapfel. He went on to write the following in his caption:
“Kaitlyn Queen of Scots #wwehof”
Kaitlyn Frohnapfel is the second wife of the Scottish star and they got married in 2016.
Drew McIntyre could be the next challenger for Roman Reigns
Roman Reigns became the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion after defeating Brock Lesnar in the main event of WrestleMania Sunday. That was achieved by ‘The Tribal Chief’ at the expense of an injury. Reigns announced on RAW after WrestleMania that he will speak about his future as a champion on SmackDown. It seems ‘The Scottish Warrior’ could be next in line for a shot at the title.
Drew McIntyre picked up a win against Happy Corbin at WrestleMania. He also became the first WWE star to kick out of Happy Corbin’s End of Days finisher on Saturday night during their WrestleMania 38 match. Corbin’s finisher had been one of the most protected in recent WWE history, but “The Scottish Warrior” managed to kick out before nailing Corbin with a Claymore Kick. This gave Corbin his first pinfall loss since being repackaged as Happy Corbin last summer.
WWE is returning to the Nassau Coliseum in Long Island, New York on Friday, May 6 for SmackDown. A Universal title match featuring Roman Reigns vs. Drew McIntyre is being advertised by the Nassau Coliseum’s website (h/t PWInsider). This will be the first SmackDown TV event at the Coliseum in nine years.
