Alexa Bliss talks about failing at being WWE announcer

Alexa Bliss has had a successful career in WWE so far. She has been an authority figure on RAW, a manager in NXT. She also won the RAW Women’s Title, Smackdown Women’s Title and is currently one half of the WWE Women’s  Tag Team Champions.

Bliss spoke to TV Insider, where she talked about starting in FCW before the inception of NXT. She tried various roles, which included being an announcer. However, she did not do well at all.

“I felt like it was more of a test to see if I would freeze up. It went well,” Bliss said. “I started hosting the show for a while. Then I moved to ring announcing, which I did for only a very short time because my memory is horrendous. I couldn’t remember the names and weights and where they were from. It was my second or third week there, It was not my forte.”

Even if Alexa Bliss has solid promo skills, working as an announcer was simply not meant for her.
