It was reported earlier that Vince McMahon was very high on Andrade lately due to his improved English speaking skills. The story was that Andrade approached McMahon about receiving a push and was met with a demand that he’d first have to improve his English which he ultimately did.
Now, Dave Meltzer reports on Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the SmackDown Superstar is “universally loved” backstage in the company. Moreover, he also received help from the company’s Talent Relations department in getting a good English speaking tutor.
Furthermore, Andrade has also managed to gain positive reviews from a number of producers regarding his in-ring work on live events which has made him a well-liked figure who Vince McMahon wants to give a push.
Ultimately, it shouldn’t surprise anyone if the former NXT Champion receives a huge push on the blue brand in the coming months.
