Russell Brand is in hot water for he is accused of rape, sexual assaults and emotional abuse. These details came to light in a Sunday Times and Channel 4 Dispatches investigation. Brand denies the allegations, and calls it a conspiracy against him.
Russell Brand has a successful career, but he has also been on the receiving end of accusations over the years. The 48-year-old performed on Sunday at 8 pm, for a show that was due to start at 7 pm, at Troubadour Wembley Park theatre.
According to Sky News, The comedian and actor stated that there are things he cannot discuss about. His case has got attention from people involving all walks of life. The allegations came to light on Saturday and most parties involved in the matter have stated that an ‘urgent investigation’ has been launched in the matter.
BBC said that they are looking into the matter, while some others have made it clear that they will be ready to cut ties if anything comes out to be true. As of this writing, four women have accused Brand of sexual assaults between 2006 and 2013.
In light of the allegations, while some have been critical of Russell Brand, there are many who have come out in support of the comedian. Elon Musk and Andrew Tate are some people that have come out in support of Russell Brand. Elon Musk tweeted his thoughts on the entire situation on X.
