On tonight’s episode of Smackdown Live, Billie Kay of the IIconics took on the Ravishing Russian, Lana, for a spot in this year’s Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match.
Lana was accompanied by Rusev’s hype man, Aiden English, who got the crowd screaming “Lana is the best, Lana #1.” They were followed by the IIconics who attempted, poorly, to out-sing Aiden English. However, English proved to be the IIconics undoing. When English picked up a sign for Lana, both Billie Kay and Peyton Royce went after him, allowing Lana to take out Peyton.
With only one of the duo to deal with now, Lana defeated Billie Kay with a facebuster. Lana has qualified for the MITB Ladder Match, joining Ember Moon, Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss and Becky Lynch.
Naomi would also earn in her spot in the match later in the night, defeating one of Smackdown’s recent acquisitions from the Raw brand, Sonya Deville.
