WWE Evolution takes place on October 28 in Uniondale, New York. The all women’s pay-per-view will feature four championship matches between the Raw, Smackdown, NXT, and NXT UK brands.
The first championship match has officially been set, according to PWInsider. At the latest NXT tapings, it was revealed that Shayna Baszler would get a rematch against Kairi Sane at WWE Evolution, facing off against the Pirate Queen for the NXT Women’s Championship.
The current card for WWE Evolution is as follows (SPOILERS):
- NXT Women’s Championship: Shayna Baszler vs Kairi Sane (c)
- Alexa Bliss vs Trish Stratus
- Mickie James vs Lita
- Mae Young Classic Finals: Toni Storm vs Io Shirai
Kairi Sane and Shayna Baszler have had a pretty epic feud over the past year, stemming all the way back to the first Mae Young Classic. After their next, and probably, final bout for the NXT Women’s Championship, Baszler will more than likely make her way up to the main roster.
