AOP might be removed from television following Rezar injury

This week’s episode of Monday Night RAW featured a six-man tag team match. During the match, Rezar apparently got injured while catching Rollins off a crossbody but was able to finish the match.

He injured his right bicep during the match. On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer talked about what WWE could do at this point.

Meltzer said that the injury is really bad with poor timing as well. He does not expect Rezar to be on TV for some time and is not sure whether or not he will require surgery, but either way, the time required to heal is at least “a couple of months” without surgery and far more if surgery is needed.

It is possible that Akam will also not be on television if his tag partner is injured. So Rollins will be losing the majority of his followers. We wonder what Vince McMahon will do with AOP in the end.
