Ashley Massaro was scheduled to appear in suicide prevention video before she committed suicide

Former WWE Superstar Ashley Massaro shocked the entire world of professional wrestling when she took her own life at the age of 39 years. According to New York Post, Massaro was scheduled to appear in a music video for suicide awareness before her untimely demise.

The music video that she was supposed to be a part of was for a song, which was composed by her co-worker at 94.3 The Shark. It was said that Massaro liked the track titled “Choose Song” and so she showed interest in being part of the song. Here is what Brian Orlando, writer of “Choose Song” had to say about Ashley Massaro:

“Ashley was very enthusiastic about the song. She heard it after it was recorded and loved it. She even agreed to be in the video… It’s a mellow anything. It’s encouraging. The idea of the song is that with music, you are never alone.”

The song was finished and preparations were made for it to receive a music video, but then the project came to a stop as Ashley Massaro committed suicide.

“Obviously, when she passed away, I felt personally like my world crashed and wasn’t sure I wanted to hear the song again,” Orlando said. “We decided to scrap the entire idea. I didn’t feel comfortable releasing the song. We’re all slowly realizing it’s needed more now than ever.”
