Asuka Match ‘Ended Career’ Of Raw Star?

WWE Superstar Asuka remains one of the highlights of the women’s division on Monday Night RAW. ‘The Empress of Tomorrow’ was the face of the division being the RAW Women’s Champion until WrestleMania 37, where she lost to Rhea Ripley in a singles match. Since then she has been involved in the RAW Women’s Championship scene but has not been able to win it back.

Former WWE Superstars Peyton Royce and Billie Kay recently spoke on the Busted Open podcast, where Peyton Royce talked about her final match in WWE, which was against Empress of Tomorrow. While it was one of her best singles matches, Royce felt it was going to be the last match of her career in WWE.

“That match I had with Asuka was kind of strange, because afterwards I felt so happy and so fulfilled like, “Yes! I feel like I’m finally scratching my wrestling itch!,” but I had this really strange feeling overcome me. I just had this strange feeling that that was gonna be my last wrestling match. It was just this feeling that came over me and went away. Then I find out afterwards that I only got that match because someone had COVID. It wasn’t because my RAW Talk promo got me the opportunity. I just had this strange feeling that it was my last match,”
