Asuka on what Vince McMahon told her after her title win

After winning the Smackdown Women’s title at WWE TLC, Asuka was interviewed by Tokyo Sports, when WWE visited Fresno, California for TV this week.

While she is a former NXT Champion, it was the first time that The Empress of Tomorrow had won gold on the main roster. This was made even better thanks to Vince McMahon’s reaction to her title win.

Asuka revealed in the interview that McMahon congratulated her backstage after the match had ended. After hugging her, McMahon thanked her for the match and told her that he was happy for her.

Asuka also revealed what her next goal is. She said she was proud to end the year as a champion, becoming the top female superstar on the Smackdown roster and added that she looks forward to defending her championship at Wrestlemania 35.

When asked who she would like to face at Wrestlemania 35, with Tokyo Sports even mentioning Ronda Rousey, Asuka claimed she wanted to fight anyone and everyone, and simply wanted a challenging match.

Asuka also revealed in her interview that one of her main goals in WWE is to show the world the diverse female talent the industry has to offer. In order to ensure everyone looks good, she is willing to push them to their limits.
