Austin Aries is yet another superstar who’s name has been thrown in the mix of the #SpeakingOut movement on Twitter where victims describe their accounts of sexual misconduct by specific members of the wrestling community.
With multiple women accusing him of sexual misconduct, one woman shared very specific claims in regards to Aries. The accuser claims that after she invited Aries and another wrestler to sleep in her apartment, the arrangement was the wrestlers would be on the floor and the two women on the bed. The situation changed however, as at some point in the night, Aries climbed into bed between the women and put his hand on one of their thighs.
Then another woman stepped forward and stated that Aries asked her multiple times to dance for him and then kept inviting her into his room, which she declined. If that weren’t enough, a third woman claims Aries told her to lift her shirt up to see her bra and then asked if it matches her underwear.
Aries did not specifically acknowledge any of these incidents but had the following to say:
