Backstage details on Nation of Domination angle possibly getting nixed

WWE has recently been hinting at a Nation of Domination reboot, with MVP leading the faction along with the likes of Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin,  and possibly United States champion Apollo Crews. This past Monday’s Raw even saw an appearance from Ron Simmons (Farooq) to help kick-start the storyline on television. They have since been dubbed “The Hurt Business.”

In an update from the Wrestling Observer, there is a feeling of concern backstage about rebooting an N.O.D. like-faction at this time due to the ongoing protests and racial tensions going on in the United States. Reports are that some are even calling the angle “tone-deaf,” with many hoping that it will get pulled.

The report also mentions how Vince McMahon has listened to a lot of ideas from MVP, who has been praised backstage for his work with younger talent since his return in January at the Royal Rumble.

What do you think? Would you want to see the Hurt Business portray a Nation of Domination like attitude continue considering the current times?
