Bray Wyatt’s absence from this week’s episode of Raw and SmackDown Live was puzzling for people, especially after his impactful debut at the SummerSlam PPV.
Since WWE also removed his full entrance from their YouTube account and replaced it with a shorter version, a lot of people wondered if the officials deem his character to be too scary for TV.
Though Ryan Satin of the Pro Wrestling Sheet busted this myth recently and on Twitter, he revealed that the former Champion was kept off TV because the company wants to keep his character special:
From what I’ve heard, Bray Wyatt wasn’t shown on WWE TV this week to follow up on “The Fiend” debuting at SummerSlam because they want his character to be special and for it to feel like you’ll never know when he’s going to strike next.

When I asked if Bray Wyatt wasn't on TV this week because there was fear his gimmick was TOO scary, my sources told me no.
They all said it was for the reasons I previously stated. https://t.co/Zk3o4i8msr

There is no word yet on when Bray Wyatt will return to WWE Programming but latest advertisement suggests that it won’t be long before he returns.
While the lineup can change, Wyatt is currently being advertised for next week’s episode of Raw so it’s likely that he will make an appearance at the show.
