We noted before how Brock Lesnar was not expected to wrestle anytime soon and the possible destination for his next title defense is the SummerSlam PPV.
At the time there was no news on who will be the opponent for the Beast though now the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Newsletter has revealed the current plans for his challenger.
According to it, the working plans for the PPV is for Roman Reigns to once again face the Universal Champion for his title after his controversial defeat at the Greatest Royal Rumble.
It’s worth mentioning here that a recent report suggested that Lesnar could be dropping the title soon and after this revelation, it looks likely that the Beast will lose the Championship to Reigns this time.
Though there is enough time between now and the PPV and there is still possibility of the plans being changed. We’ll keep you posted if any such news comes to light.
