WWE released many stars and backstage employees from their roster as part of the coronavirus budget cuts but there were others who were furloughed by the company.
These actions were part of the company’s effort to cut costs amid the coronavirus outbreak and latest reports reveal that the cost-cutting maneuvers have not ended just yet.
According to reports from PWinsider, WWE is continuing to cut cost and in the spree, they have informed a number of executives and officials that their pay would be reduced going forward in the last 48 hours.
The site also notes an interesting detail about the furloughed employees, revealing that the company had originally told people that they expected to bring them back by July.
However, with the company looking to cut their costs further, it’s not very likely that this timeline will hold up and we will have to wait and see when exactly they bring the removed employees back.
