There was a lot of uncertainty and chaos backstage at this week’s episode of SmackDown, according to reports from Dave Meltzer of F4wonline.
The wrestling journalist revealed that Vince McMahon hadn’t arrived in the Amway Center until the early afternoon and nobody knew what was going to happen:
“We got one report that Smackdown was a mess as the show was still being worked on a few hours ago.”
This is not the first time we are hearing such news and similar situations have been reported about various WWE shows in recent weeks, where people allegedly did not know the plans for the show until Vince McMahon arrived in the arena.
For those who don’t know, WWE hadn’t advertised any matches for this week’s episode of SmackDown beforehand.
They updated the shows’ preview with several bouts just 10 minutes before the episode went on air and this delay became a topic of discussion among fans as the show aired.
