In the latest issue of Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that many people within WWE were shocked upon finding out about the arrest of Rich Swann.
Though on the other hand there were some who knew both Rich and his wife Su Yung who is also a wrestler, from the indie circuit. They would describe them as two people who were broken and found love in each other but were still in a combustible relationship.
As we noted before this might very well be the end of Swann’s WWE career as WWE’s policy is to suspend any star who is arrested in domestic violence case and they terminate the talent if he or she is convicted in a court.
For those who don’t know, Rich Swann was arrested this past Sunday after an incident with his wife Su where Swann allegedly put her in a headlock and pushed her back into a car she was trying to run away from.
WWE suspended Swann as soon as this news came out and they also nixed his #1 contenders match against Drew Gulak which was supposed to take place on this week’s Raw.
