Former World Champion Daniel Bryan getting cleared for his in-ring return is presumably the biggest wrestling news coming out in the past year or so.
During the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Live, Dave Meltzer talked about this turn of events and revealed that the decision to clear him was made sometime on Monday.
According to him, several figures backstage at Monday Night Raw were aware of Bryan being cleared and the feeling was that the company would make an official announcement regarding it soon which they did.
The current plans for Bryan are for him to team up with SmackDown Commissioner Shane McMahon and face the team of Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn at WrestleMania.
No word yet on if Officials and Bryan have worked on a deal regarding his schedule following his in-ring return but Daniel has said before that he would like to work a lighter schedule once cleared and it wouldn’t be a surprise if the company grants this wish.
