As noted, John Cena will be taking time off from WWE following the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view event for personal reasons and won’t be back until the December 26th WWE live event at MSG.
The Wrestling Observer was the first to report that it was not an injury situation, but rather him asking WWE for time off a few months ago.
Cena continues to be guarded when asked why he’s taking time off. PWinsider.com noted that he’s been telling those who have been asking him why he’s taking time off, Cena will tell them that it’s not for a bad reason he needs time off, but rather a good thing.
