Wrestling veteran Sting has been in news recently due to rumors of his relationship with WWE and a potential debut for the upstart promotion AEW.
Now a new report from Pro Wrestling Sheet has confirmed that there is some truth to the speculations about the former WCW World Champion’s future.
According to the site, Sting’s WWE contract has expired. As of now, the former World Champion is not under a contract with the company and free to sign elsewhere.
Though the report notes that this doesn’t necessarily mean that the two parties in Sting and WWE could not reach an agreement for a merchandising deal.
