Backstage Update on Undertaker’s Health, Top RAW Star Dealing with Minor Injury

– According to a report from F4WOnline, The Undertaker was in a lot of pain after the Royal Rumble pay-per-view (PPV), after lasting 8:46 and eliminating four WWE Superstars; Sami Zayn, Baron Corbin, The Miz and Bill Goldberg. Taker was notably dealing with hip issues heading into the match, as he underwent hip surgery in Fall of 2016.

No news on whether or not this will affect his plans for Wrestlemania 33, but currently he is slated to take on Roman Reigns in Orlando.

F4WOnline also reports that WWE United States Champ Chris Jericho seems to have suffered a minor injury to his ankle during the Battle Royal at the Royal Rumble during Brock Lesnar’s tossing around of the entire roster when he made his entry into the Rumble. The injury didn’t prevent Jericho form wrestling Sami Zayn on last night’s (Mon. January 30, 2017) episode of WWE Monday Night RAW for 14 minutes.

I agree, it’s not needed. I think he should have quit 2 Mania’s ago when he defeated Bray and ended on that. Not last year when he faced Shane because that match was so meh. I love Taker as much as anybody but I dread watching him at this years Mania against Roman. Especially after watching him at the Rumble where he was definitely showing his age.

It was kinda sad tbh… He should have just focused on getting/staying healthy and not ending up needing a walker or something in the near future.

He looked terrible in every sense of the word.

I thought Taker was finally looking his age, kind of old and slow. I realize the Rumble is a slower-moving match but he has definitely looked better in the ring.
