– There is talk of having matches for the Cruiserweight Classic air on the separate Cruiserweight show that will air on the WWE Network and have some matches air on the weekly NXT TV show. WWE is expected to hold tapings for the show from June 20th through June 25th at Full Sail University in Winter Park, FL. Keep in mind that WWE will be holding an NXT TV taping on June 24th. Triple H and the head writer of NXT will be in charge of writing the cruiserweight show.
Noam Dar, Zack Sabre Jr, Jack Gallagher, Drew Gulak and TJ Perkins have also qualified for the Classic.
Cruiserweight Classic is set to begin airing on Wednesday, July 13th at 9 pm.
– WWE has some interest in Melissa Santos. One idea that has been pitched for her to be the personal ring announcer for Alberto Del Rio. However, with Santos being under contract with Lucha Underground, the possibility of her signing with the company soon is not good.
