Backstage updates on Matt Riddle’s contract negotiations with WWE

While Matt Riddle still has some time left on his contract, it appears that WWE doesn’t want the former UFC star to leave the company as they are already trying to sign him to a new deal.

Dave Meltzer reported on the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the former NXT star’s current contract with the company is set to expire in August next year.

However, the officials are already making efforts to re-sign the Ultimate Bro and the company officials are working on locking him to a new deal:

“WWE is working on locking down Riddle, whose contract is up in August, It’s said he’s pretty much agreed to terms for a three-year deal at $400,000 per year guaranteed plus $50,000 for every show in Saudi Arabia.”

Matt Riddle started his professional wrestling training at Monster Factory in 2014 and he was signed by WWE 4 years after his debut in 2018.
