Backstage updates on WWE’s claims on coronavirus testing policy

WWE mentioned on TV this past week that all their talents were tested for coronavirus, however, the latest reports on the matter suggest otherwise.

According to reports from the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the company did not actually have COVID-19 testing done on any talent and their claims were wrong.

Regarding their checks, the Newsletter notes that the company only checked the temperature of the people and asked them if they didn’t feel well, before letting them into the PC.

Multiple people within the company were “shocked” at this policy from the promotion, considering the fact that UFC fighters have previously passed the temperature checks and still tested positive later on.

These reports are even more concerning as the company has increased the load at their shows this week and they have started bringing development talent to the show to add some noise to the programming
