The betting odds were in favour of Braun Strowman before tonight’s great Balls Of Fire PPV due to which many people speculated that WWE may be going with their original plans and have Strowman challenge Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam.
However, during the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer said that the plans still call for Roman Reigns to face The Beast at The Biggest Event Of The Summer.
Regarding the recent losses Reigns has suffered at the hands of Samoa Joe and Braun Strowman, it’s being said that they will set up future challengers for Reigns once he wins the title.
No word yet on what are the plans for Strowman and Joe for SummerSlam though things should get clearer on tonight’s episode of Monday Night Raw.
