Baron Corbin ‘Ruined’ WWE Elimination Chamber Finish

Many viewers of the recent WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view may have noticed that something was off. Jey Uso revealed a bad Elimination Chamber injury photo.

WWE do have rules in place for their matches, but the rules are not officially published anywhere meaning that WWE can change the rules at any time. The Elimination Chamber matches are supposed to see competitors enter at 5-minute intervals, but WWE do not put the timer on the screen.

The SmackDown Elimination Chamber match saw their intervals go on much longer than expected. It’s been noted that King Corbin taking so long to tap out to Cesaro was the cause of this. WWE waited 7:36 to let in Kevin Owens.

Due to the length of the Smackdown match, WWE then made the decision to speed up the RAW Elimination Chamber match. The participants in this match only had to wait four minutes between entries in the match. The last person in the SmackDown match came in at 23:10 into the contest, but the RAW match saw all of the wrestlers enter the match by the 16-minute mark.

It seemed noticeable that changes in time had taken place in the matches, but viewers also understand that WWE is a realm in which is bout suspending disbelief.
