Mike Chioda reveals how Chris Benoit and Batista got involved

Chioda recently joined in with James Romero of Wrestling Shoot Interviews and said Batista and Benoit were not the only ones but other WWE stars involved in the brawl as well.

He said:

“Somebody said something to somebody and they cleared away, and the next thing you know a big fight broke out,” Chioda said. “Everybody was running off the bus, we were all fighting, dudes just throwing around, and it was a good old time there. It was Batista in that brawl, Benoit was in that brawl. Everybody, everybody was just all over the place because it was a good amount of guys. It was about 20-something guys [kickboxers] and there was about 20-something of us.”

Mike Chioda revealed that WWE’s Head of Talent Relations, John Laurinaitis had stepped in and attempted to stop WWE stars from fighting the kickboxers.

Chioda made it clear that none of the wrestlers were charged fines for the incident as they were protecting their colleagues.
