Batista Reportedly Receiving WrestleMania 35 and AEW Offers

The professional wrestling market has certainly shaken up since the addition of All Elite Wrestling (AEW) to the mix. Now, however, AEW has its eyes on a former WWE World Champion. Its been reported for the past several months WWE would like to bring Batista back in for a WrestleMania 35 match.

Pro Wrestling Sheet confirms as much in a recent report. However, it looks like things are getting very interesting, as AEW is now bidding for Batista’s services. The report notes that Batista is currently in talks to lock down a deal to compete at WrestleMania this April from East Rutherford, New Jersey. Nothing is set in stone as of this writing.

It’s also being said that, based on how talks are going, there’s a “50/50” shot Batista returns to WWE. Ryan Satin adds that AEW has expressed interest in the ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy’ star, and “The Animal” isn’t turning them away. It remains to be seen whether or not AEW has a legitimate shot at landing the future Hall Of Famer, but given the promotion is funded by the billionaire Khan family, finances shouldn’t be an issue.

Batista vs. Triple H

Batista’s last WWE appearance came in October for the SmackDown 1000 special episode. During the Evolution reunion segment, WWE teased a future match between Triple H and Batista. That bout was put in doubt after Triple H suffered an injury during his match at Crown Jewel. However, “The Game” was recently cleared to resume training.

Where do you think Batista will end up when it’s all said and done?
