Batista Return to WWE with nWo Revealed

Batista, the nWo, John Bradshaw Layfield, The British Bulldog, Jushin Thunder Liger, and The Bella Twins were set to be WWE’s Hall of Fame class of 2020, but the pandemic pushed back those plans, and now it appears that class will get in WrestleMania 37 weekend. Batista making an in ring return at WrestleMania was just shot down.

Davey Boy Smith Jr. confirmed that WWE are making fans for a fan free Hall of Fame ceremony, which will see Batista and the nWo return to WWE TV as long as WWE don’t change the inductees.

Smith told Metro, “I’ve been starting to pinpoint things. I’m gonna have to base that on how much time they’re going to allow me. My sister and my mother will be with me on the podium, and how much we’re gonna have to divide that between the three of us – and who’s going to do the induction for him.”

“I’m not sure what or who that might be at this point because of the COVID restrictions. I think it will just be me inducting Davey, as far as I know. I don’t think that they’re doing an audience, just with the fans from the Network on the screens.”

The inducted nWo members are Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, and Sean Waltman. This has led to criticism from fans, who have said that Eric Bischoff should be inducted, especially if Waltman is getting in. Waltman was already inducted with DX, and many important nWo members like The Giant, Scott Steiner, and Randy Savage.
