WWE SmackDown star Bayley recently recalled a match against former WWE star AJ Lee. She took to Twitter and shared pictures from her match against AJ Lee in 2013.
Bayley recalls a match against AJ Lee
‘The Role Model’ noted the match where she challenged Lee for the WWE Divas Championship back in NXT.

Bayley made her huge return at the recently concluded WWE SummerSlam Premium Live Event. But she was not alone. She was accompanied by Io Shirai(now Iyo Sky) and Dakota Kai, seemingly forming a stable. Io Shirai has inked a new deal with WWE and Dakota Kai, who was released has now been brought back. According to Sean Sapp behind Fightful’s paywall, Vince McMahon had the idea of this new stable with Bayley leading Shirai and Kai before Kai was released. However, he rejected the idea and then Kai was cut.
Meanwhile, AJ Lee retired from professional wrestling due to a neck injury in 2015, though her husband CM Punk’s ongoing battle with WWE had affected her decision. She last wrestled her last match on the night after WrestleMania 31 on Monday Night RAW. Lee, Paige and Naomi defeated the trio of The Bella Twins and Natalya.
In a Tweet, Bayley had previously discussed the importance of AJ to her career and her progression as a professional wrestler.
