Becky Lynch Attacks AEW Female Stars

The former WWE RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch recently spoke about AEW’s women’s division and compared it to that of WWE. She believes that AEW has emerged as a viable competitor to WWE, but fans often criticize the time given to the women’s division on AEW TV.

Becky Lynch feels WWE women’s division is better than AEW’s

Speaking on Drew Garabo Live Featured Cut Of The Day, Lynch was asked about the AEW women’s division and the competition. Lynch was speaking seemingly in character and when asked if she feels AEW gives her another reason to raise the bar, she said:

“I wish I could say ‘yes,’ but, unfortunately, I don’t think they are represented the way we are, they don’t get as much time as we get and frankly, they’re not as good as we are. We have, certainly on Raw, we have the best women’s division in the world. I say that without any hesitation in my voice. We have the best women’s division in the world.

She further spoke about the competition and also spoke about having her friend and former WWE star Ruby Soho (Ruby Riott in WWE). Here is what she said:

Competition is great and it’s great for there to be another place and I have a very good friend, Ruby Soho, over there and I would love to see her as champion one day. I would love to see her get the spotlight she deserves. Competition is always great. Over here, we’re on another level.”

Lynch returned to WWE TV on Raw, having not been seen since losing the Raw Women’s Championship to Bianca Belair at WrestleMania 38. She was then confronted by another returning star as Asuka emerged for the first time since WWE Money in the Bank.
