Becky Lynch ‘Can’t Return’ To WWE For Bad Reason

Becky Lynch’s WrestleMania return was canceled by Vince McMahon for a weird reason. A Becky Lynch WWE return match rumor has leaked.

Wrestling Observer said, “I will say this, okay? I heard something about Becky and WrestleMania, but I only heard this from one person, but if I can confirm this I promise I will tell you, but the story was so ridiculous I literally couldn’t believe it, and think about that because we’re talking about WWE. I asked eariler in the show and I didn’t get anything back. Maybe who knows, maybe she’ll show up tonight.”

Vince is also dealing with another problem. WWE doesn’t really have the best past as far as political correctness goes. We have seen that display multiple times. WWE once wrote off things as “pushing the envelope” or “taking things to the next level of TV”. Now, there’s no more hiding away from the very rough and wild past that is WWE.

Peacock TV and WWE’s deal was that Peacock would scan through hours upon hours of WWE segments to ensure that nothing would get out where it would then make Peacock look bad. In simple terms, WWE and Peacock want to erase the dark stain that WWE carried throughout the 90s and early 2000s television.

The newest segment that was taken out was starring Goldust as he dawned black-face during a segment with R Truth. In the segment, Goldust’s face paint seems to be an homage to Kamala with the way the paint was designed, but if Peacock feels that it wasn’t that way, well, then Peacock feels that it wasn’t that way. In short, the segment is now gone.

This, of course, isn’t the first or last segment Peacock has/will touch. A list of what Peacock has gotten rid of includes Peacock edited out Vince McMahon using the n-word with John Cena, DX impersonating the Nation of Domination, and Roddy Piper vs Bad News Brown from WrestleMania XI. Of course, these were all taken off for good reason.
