Several fans would simply agree that Brock Lesnar is one of the most dominant pro wrestlers to have ever stepped foot inside the squared circle. He had two terrific runs in WWE, both of which saw him winning major World Titles and being a huge draw for fans. Brock Lesnar was not seen on WWE television ever since he dropped the WWE Championship to Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 36 back in 2020. Brock Lesnar was also previously called out by a Superstar from Monday Night RAW.
After being away from WWE television for over a year, Brock Lesnar made his return at WWE SummerSlam in 2021, immediately setting his sights set on Roman Reigns. He also sported a ponytail, which was completely different from what fans were used to seeing him in.
Lesnar won the WWE Championship after defeating Big E, Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins, and Bobby Lashley in a Fatal Five-Way match at WWE Day 1. However, he would lose the title to Bobby Lashley last month after Roman Reigns interfered in the match thanks to Paul Heyman turning on The Beast Incarnate.
Lesnar then won the Men’s Royal Rumble match and went on to choose Roman Reigns as his opponent for WrestleMania. He then won the WWE Championship in the WWE Title Elimination Chamber match in Saudi Arabia on February 19th.
Bianca Belair recently spoke to GiveMeSport WWE, where she said that Brock Lesnar vs. Rey Mysterio at Survivor Series 2019 is one of her favorite matches ever.
“Wow, that’s a hard one, I wouldn’t say it’s the best one but it’s one of my favorite ones to watch for some reason. It’s the match with Brock Lesnar and Rey Mysterio.”
One man who has very strong opinions on the latest ‘happy’ side of Brock Lesnar is none other than professional wrestling icon Jim Cornette. During a recent edition of his ever-popular ‘Jim Cornette Experience podcast, the managing legend discuss his views on the new side of Brock Lesnar as he stated the following. “I’m not getting tired of seeing his gimmick to the hilt and the lumberjack shirt or coat or whatever with the other thing underneath it and the jeans and the black cowboy hat and the pigtails. And he is shaking children’s hands and smiling and he was laughing and said to the people, ‘thank you, very kindly for his ovation, I appreciate it. What is this with this new happy Brock? Has he been sipping out of Happy Corbin’s flask, you think?”
