Becky Lynch has not been on WWE programming in over a year after she announced her pregnancy on the WWE Monday Night Raw after WWE Money in the Bank 2020. However, for fans that are expecting ‘The Man’ to come back to WWE programming soon – especially before SummerSlam, might very well be out of luck. Did Becky Lynch’s WWE return opponent recently leak?
According to Steve Carrier of Ringside News, Lynch is not scheduled to appear anytime soon. Carrier expanded on this by taking to social media via Twitter by stating the following.
“Becky Lynch questions still appear in our inbox, so we asked about any rumors concerning her returning soon. We have learned something interesting: “anything you hear about Becky being back before the draft is fake news.” Take note of that, and be patient.”
When Becky Lynch eventually does return to WWE programming one potential top female star that she could go up against is current WWE Raw Women’s Champion Nikki A.S.H. During a recent interview with The Sunday Post, A.S.H. discussed her desire to face ‘The Man’ and how she is up for the challenge.
Becky Lynch could also be returning on Friday Night Smackdown. She stated”: “I’m ready for the challenge from Becky and I truly hope it does happen. Becky and Drew have been amazing role models, inspiring me and creating that blueprint.”
Nikki added: “It’s shown you can be from Scotland, Ireland, the UK and with the right dedication, work ethic and attitude you can make it. You can become a WWE champion.”
