Becky Lynch made some interesting comments about the term women in the women’s division during her appearance at WWE Backstage, though she has now clarified her remarks.
The Man posted a statement from her official Twitter account recently and claimed that she wasn’t advocating any changes in the title names and instead, she wants equal opportunities based on skill and not gender:
“I wasn’t advocating for any changes in title names or anything else (like I’d have the power)—but simply an equal volume of opportunities that are based on skill, and not gender.”

For those who don’t know, Becky Lynch appeared on WWE Backstage this week and said that the company should present everything whether it’s male of female as wrestling.
However, while she has now clarified that she wasn’t advocating a name change, it appears that WWE officials have already made their mind and reports suggest that they will be making an interesting change to the NXT women’s championship.
