WWE star Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey have two of the biggest names in the recent WWE history and they have been away from WWE programming for quite some time now.
Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey could return next year
Lynch and Rousey, along with Charlotte Flair, were part of a historic match when they participated in the first-ever women’s WrestleMania main event in 2019.
The ending of the match had seen Lynch coming out on top and capture both the RAW and SmackDown Women’s Championships.
It has been reported that the match was originally planned to be a one-on-one match between Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey.
However, WWE made changes to the plans and made the addition of Charlotte Flair to the match. Now it is being slated for a couple of years that a singles match between Lynch and Rousey is possibly on the cards and the possible reasons for not having the match have been revealed. WrestlingNews.co reported that a match between Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey could happen at WrestleMania 38 but the big-ticket match is likely to happen at WrestleMania 39 in Los Angeles.
It was reported:
“WrestleMania 38 in Dallas has been discussed but others in the company feel that it would be better to hold that match off until WrestleMania 39 in Los Angeles since that is Rousey’s hometown and having L.A. host the show would guarantee more mainstream publicity.”
Lynch recently gave birth to her baby and has been teasing her return after her workout picture started circulating, while Rousey announced her pregnancy last month.
