Becky Lynch remains one of the most popular female WWE Superstars in recent memory. The Man’s meteoric rise to Superstardom back in 2018 is well documented.
It propelled her career to the absolute top, which culminated in her winning both the RAW and Smackdown Women’s Championships at WrestleMania 35, defeating both Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey in the main event of the Show of Shows. It seems a WWE Executive forgot who Becky Lynch was as well.
Many fans noted that her push started after an accident that took place prior to Survivor Series 2018. On the final episode of RAW before the pay-per-view, Jax legitimately punched Lynch during a brawl between RAW and SmackDown Superstars. Due to this Lynch suffered a concussion and had to forfeit her Survivor Series spot to Charlotte Flair.
Daniel Bryan recently talked to Sports Illustrated about Lynch’s iconic moment where she donned the crimson mask. It seems Lynch has no recollection of that moment whatsoever.
“It’s really interesting, I was talking to Becky Lynch about this. She had that amazing moment where her face got busted open and she’s bleeding, she’s in the crowd, and it’s this magic moment that makes Becky, but she barely remembers it because she got smashed in the face. It’s one of those things where I watch it on YouTube, and it’s cool, but I really don’t have any real recollection of it.”
