Walking alongside him, his 12-year-old son, Samuel, whom he shares with ex-wife Jennifer Garner, rolled his school bag down the sidewalk.
Affleck’s appearance coincides with reports of marital strain with Lopez, sparking divided opinions among their friends and family about the future of their relationship. According to a source from Us Weekly, while some believe the couple can reconcile with effort, others think their relationship has run its course.
An insider revealed that Affleck has “been checked out” and that he and Lopez are often “on two completely different pages.” The honeymoon phase, they noted, has ended. The couple’s demanding careers, often requiring them to be in different cities, have further strained their relationship.
Currently, Lopez, 54, is busy preparing for her 30-date “This Is Me…Now” tour, starting next month. A source mentioned that she has been focused on her work and has been overextending herself.
