Big 8-Man Tag Team Match Announced For The ROH Global Wars PPV Event

ROH issued the following:

We are less than one month away from GLOBAL WARS and the WAR OF THE WORLDS TOUR!  The collaborative relationship between Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling continues, bringing you matches and experiences you can’t find anywhere else!  First up, on Sunday, May 8th, GLOBAL WARS is coming to you LIVE on pay-per-view from Chicago Ridge.  This massive event kicks off a busy week for the stars of ROH and NJPW, who are hitting the road to Dearborn, Toronto, and New York City!

With tickets SOLD OUT in Chicago Ridge, the only way you can catch the stars of Ring of Honor and New Japan is to order GLOBAL WARS live on pay-per-view through all major carriers, FITE TV, Playstation Network, and ROHWrestling.com!

Bullet Club has been making waves around the globe with their brash, arrogant attitudes and their amazing in-ring skill that backs it up. The wrestling world has been abuzz with the news that the IWGP World Heavyweight Tag Team Champions Guerrillas of Destiny (G.O.D.) were signed to compete in Chicago Ridge. Now, ROH Matchmaker Nigel McGuinness has announced the match they will be a part of at GLOBAL WARS!

EIGHT-MAN TAG TEAM MATCH

BULLET CLUB (IWGP World Heavyweight Tag Team Champions G.O.D. and The Young Bucks) vs. MOTOR CITY MACHINE GUNS, REBORN MATT SYDAL, & IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Champion KUSHIDA

Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa won the IWGP World Heavyweight Tag Team Championships in their first match teaming together in New Japan Pro-Wrestling. The two brothers, and sons of legendary Haku, will make their ROH debut at GLOBAL WARS and they aren’t coming alone! Fellow Bullet Club members Matt and Nick Jackson, The Young Bucks, will join them in a battle against four of the top junior heavyweight stars in the world!

The Motor City Machine Guns are no strangers to the Young Bucks; the two teams competed in the main even of Supercard of Honor X and tore the house down. Both teams are former IWGP Jr. Heavyweight tag team champions and are incredibly evenly matched. The Guns will team up with one half of the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight tag team champions Reborn Matt Sydal and IWGP World Jr. Heavyweight Champion KUSHIDA, forming a never-before-seen, four-man dream team!

Despite a mutual respect that has grown for years between the Bucks and the Guns, the question remains if Bullet Club will be able to resist the urge to bend the rules in their favor in Chicago Ridge. With Tonga and Loa looking to make impressive debuts, expect them to be taken to the limit by the team of Chris Sabin, Alex Shelley, Sydal, and KUSHIDA! To see this eight-man battle, you HAVE to join us live on pay-per-view!

GLOBAL WARS is SOLD OUT but we invite fans from all around the world to join us via pay-per-view, FITE TV, Playstation Network, and ROHWrestling.com when the stars of New Japan and Ring of Honor do battle!

ROHWRESTLING.com is going to be bringing you all the latest updates and matches signed for this incredible week of international action.  And in addition to NJPW athletes, all your favorite ROH stars will be there as well!  Championships will be on the line and there’s no doubt we’ll be seeing a lot of “dream matches” in the month of May!
