Big E recently cashed in his Money In The Bank contract on Bobby Lashley to capture his first WWE Championship. On the Mat Men Podcast, Andrew Zarian followed up on his tweet about the plan for Big E cashing-in. It has been noted that the plan was for E to cash in during the draft. Triple H ‘Can’t Return’ To WWE?
Brock Lesnar made his return to SmackDown
He said that the move for it happen this week was less in regard to AEW’s number last week, and more because WWE had a huge SmackDown on Friday. The blue brand also saw the return of the former WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar to the brand for the first time in a couple of years. Thereby, they felt they needed to have something big happen on RAW.
He went on to say that WWE cannot let one show feel bigger than the other, and they need to make sure both shows remain even in terms of moments. He also said that if AEW remains close to RAW for 6+weeks then there might be some frustration building up.
We will have to see what WWE plans going forward.
