Big E will finally be making his return to the ring on this week’s episode of Smackdown Live from the Golden1 Center in Sacramento, California.
WWE officially announced that Big E, Xavier Woods and WWE Champion Kofi Kingston will face off against Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn and Dolph Ziggler in a six-man tag team match in the main event of Smackdown Live.
Big E underwent knee surgery to repair a torn meniscus back in April. He suffered the injury after Wrestlemania 35. He made an appearance on the May 21 SmackDown episode, but he was written off television with a backstage injury angle.
While WWE did not announce any expected timetable for his return, a torn meniscus usually takes 4-6 weeks to recover from. So it will be good to see him back in action.
