Big E reveals former WWE star gave him his finisher

Big E is one of the homegrown stars of WWE and he started his pro wrestling career by having a tryout and signing a development contract with the company in 2009.

The New Day member spent the next few years learning the ropes of the business in FCW and later NXT and during his recent appearance on After The Bell podcast, E named some of the stars who helped him early in his wrestling career.

During the interview, the former IC Champion revealed that former WWE star Curt Hawkins actually helped him in getting his finishing move The Big Ending:

My only finisher I’ve ever used is The Big Ending, and I remember Curt Hawkins gave that to me, this had to be in 2009. It was called The Body Bag, and he showed it to me.” recalled Big E, “I forgot how we came up with The Big Ending. I remember Darren Young getting in the ring with me a little bit, showing me how to gorilla press.”

WWE seems to have big plans for the future of Big E and it appears that the company might finally pull the trigger on a main event run for the heavyweight star after his split with The New Day.
