WWE SmackDown star Big E recently endured a career-threatening neck injury on an episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown back in March. The injury has kept him on the shelf since March. The former WWE Champion was involved in a tag team match alongside Kofi Kingston against Sheamus and Ridge Holland. There was a spot during the match where Holland tossed Big E at ringside with a belly-to-belly suplex, but he dropped him on his head causing the awful injury. The medical team immediately attended Big E while New Day member Kingston finished the match. Ridge Holland had also visited Big E in the hospital. Big E fractured of the C1 vertebra twice as well as the C6. He previously required a neck brace which turned his dating life into a mess.
Big E talks about his dating life
He recently gave fans an update on how dating has been going for him since the injury. The former WWE Champion Big E made an appearance on “Out of Character with Ryan Satin” and shared his experience. He no longer requires a neck brace to move around freely. But that does not mean his dating life is going on too well.
He said:
“It’s a mess out here, this dating life. I spent 12 weeks in a neck brace … Now you’re just a charity case. You’re a pity case. I can’t go on dates with a neck brace … I haven’t gone on a date or anything, but, it’s only been a month that I’m out and about, but I’m seeing people.”
