WWE star Big E was recently asked about the locker room’s environment following the retirement of Vince McMahon. Vince McMahon recently announced his retirement from his roles as Chairman and CEO of WWE. It was later clarified that he was also done with his work on creative. Some reports have emerged regarding his backstage performance as well. It was revealed that  Stephanie McMahon and Nick Khan will serve as Co-CEOs of WWE, while Triple H is EVP of Talent Relations and Head of Creative.

Big E says he could get in trouble for answering some questions

The former WWE champion suggested that he could potentially find himself in trouble for answering certain questions. Speaking to Ariel Helwani on the recent episode of The MMA Hour, Big E claimed that he didn’t exactly have an idea regarding the environment backstage.

The New Day member also noted that he has mostly been at home recovering from his injury.

“It’s weird because I’ve been at home, man. I’m not in the locker room, I haven’t been there. People texting me but I don’t really know exactly what the atmosphere is. Everyone has an opinion on it, it’s hard to say. And the problem too is, I feel like, there’s only things I can either get through this interview smoothly or I can get in trouble,” said Big E.

Vince McMahon recently got involved in a fresh controversy. The latest Wall Street Journal story on Vince alleged that he paid at least 4 women over 16 years to cover up sexual misconduct. After the report about additional non-disclosure agreements that were signed to keep women quiet, many are wondering if more people will come out with accusations. Vince reportedly reacted to the allegations.  It does not appear any more women signed NDAs. There could be others who didn’t want to burn bridges with WWE who decided against seeking a settlement.
