Big Show is making his views known! The professional wrestling has been on fire with ‘giant’ and out-of-the-blue news that Paul Wight, formerly known to audiences as ‘The Big Show’ by his now-former employer WWE has signed a multi-year contract with rival promotion All Elite Wrestling. One fan recently took to social media via Twitter to express his joy for Wight joining AEW, which stated the following: “Absolutely stoked to see @PaulWight jumping over to @AEW. Hopefully it’ll reinvigorate things for him, cause damn he’s been booked shockingly bad for at least 10 years!” This major Big Show AEW match rumor was recently revealed.
This lead to Wight agreeing with the fan’s sentiments as he took it upon himself to ‘like’ that very tweet, a damning indictment of WWE’s past booking of their now-ex superstar. Another personality who shared similar sentiments was ex-WWE writer Andrew Goldstein. Goldstein was a member of the WWE creative team back in the 2000s, as the former writer tweeted his solidary with Wight in signing with AEW by tweeting out the following quote.
“Show had def reached that stage of being a WWE legend where his entire utility to the company was to get shit on and humiliated everytime he appeared on TV so I can understand the jump to somewhere he’ll be utilized in a meaningful way. Also I’d pay $ for Paul Wight/Marko Stunt.” Big Show recently quit WWE after this ‘disrespect’ by Randy Orton.
