Former WWE Superstar ‘Big Show’ Paul Wight shocked the entire pro wrestling world after revealing that he signed with AEW back on February 24th of last year before Revolution. It came as a shock as no one expected him to leave WWE for AEW, many considering him as a WWE-lifer. Jim Ross’ embarrassing Big Show botch was also leaked previously.
While speaking with Robbie Fox on ‘My Mom’s Basement’, Tony Khan noted that he wants to feature Wight on more shows when he has finally healed from his injuries.
“Paul, seeing him up and around has been great. Paul Wight is such an awesome presence in pro wrestling and when he’s healthy, and can be on the shows again, you know, I want to feature Paul. Unfortunately, a lot of his time in AEW has been hurt.
“He’s great on commentary when he’s been able to travel. I think that’s something, he has a great future quite frankly. I think he’s worked really, really hard at it and deserves opportunities there. So I have a lot of great things to say about Paul Wight.”
We will have to see if Big Show will be appearing on AEW television more or not.
