This year’s Money in the Bank pay-per-view is a unique and innovative event that will take place at the WWE HQ in Stamford. The Superstars will climb the “Corporate Ladder” wherein they will start from the building’s bottom floor and make their way up to the top floor to get their hands on the Money in the Bank briefcase.
However, according to Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the show will not feature a big title match that fans have been looking forward to for some time.
The report notes that currently, the match for the NXT Women’s Championship between Charlotte Flair and Io Shirai is not scheduled to be on the show’s card. Io Shirai won her shot at the NXT Women’s Championship a few weeks ago and since Flair has been advertised for the show, fans expected the two to go at it at Money in the Bank.
Either way, the match will definitely happen at some point in the future.
